spillsafe was (is?) a project started by ema fka "tyler" in winter on 2018, delving into the blown-out distortion of both a 4-track tascam and depression/dysphoria. throughout spillsafe's catalog of EPs and one final Album, themes of isolation, hope, solipsism, and escapism all blur together into a homemade shoegaze of urgent recordings of what, at the time, represented "the present moment."
